On-tap 11/24/2021 at the brewery’s taproom in Providence, RI, served in a snifter glass.
A: The beer is a cloudy dark gold color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral and dank hops, juicy citrus and tropical fruits and light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a burst of floral and dank hops bitterness that is quickly followed by a strong juicy and fruity citrus sweetness. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a very good balance. There is also a small burst hops spiciness in the finish. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down quite easily, not too filling, good kick, very good representation of style. This is a nice 2NEIPA to drink for a long time.
