16 oz can
pours black, with thin tan colored head that eventually fades to nothing. aroma is roasty, a little smokey, dark chocolate. similar taste, starts a little sweet but is a little acidic tasting. body could be fuller, it's a little thin feeling.

Canned 3/14/22
You know, Long Live does really good at massive Imperial Stouts, so it's nice to see them branch out a bit with something like this. I got a 4 pack a while back and drank through the rest without reviewing them, so I figured I had to save one to review. Let's get into it
Pours a very dark brown with 3 fingers of creamy tan head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves minimal lacing
The roast in the nose is absolutely huge, with a decent sweetness to set it off. I'm picking up on aromas of burnt coffee, roasted malt, milk chocolate, caramel, nutty malt, toffee, and a touch of herbal hops
It is very similar in taste, roasty and easy drinking. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting dark roast coffee, burnt vanilla bean, charred malt, dark toast, cocoa powder, and caramel. The swallow brings notes of burnt coffee, roasted barley, dark toast, raisin, milk chocolate, caramel, and light herbal hops
A medium body pairs with gentle prickly carbonation, resulting in a heavily roasted beer. Finishes very dry with a nice offset of sweetness
This is a surprisingly solid beer for a brewery that tends to focus on hype styles. Good stuff
