Pours one shade shy of black with no head. Notes of hazelnuts, lactose and cocoa. Taste follows nose - quite rich with hints of vanilla in the background. Mouthfeel is light medium-in body with a carbonation almost still. Quite tasty - all little dry/chalky, but quite tasty. Another solid LL pastry stout.

[IMG] Canned on 8/5/22 a collaboration with Long Live and Belleflower. Pours a very attractive near pitch black with a 2 finger sticky mocha head that leaves massive gobs of lace with excellent retention. 4.75
Aroma is exactly what you expect hazelnut, cocoa nibs, and vanilla bean. 4.5
Taste one dimensional but insanely tasty. Cocoa, hazelnut, and vanilla balanced and pretty darn amazing. 4.75
Mouthfeel is above average, not sticky or dry, gentle carbonation but spot on, and at 12% it goes down far too easy. 4.5
Overall this is a pretty insane stout, with a wow factor for me. I wanted to love especially with the adjuncts and really pretty darn dazzled. 4.75
