Thin mouthfeel, low carb. Flavor was within style but severely lacking in depth or any complexity. A bit watery. Tepid showing.

Pours a lovely mahogany hue with ruby highlights when backlit. Nose reveals dark malts and traces of yeast. Taste expresses a big hit of oak upfront that overwhelms the malt and the finish leaves a bit of an acidic burn. Mouthfeel is light in body with with a carbonation that is too assertive for the style. Overall, the foeder adds an interesting quality but the nuance is lost.
