A fairly mediocre NEIPA. Poured from a16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer featured a very pale, almost milky white, yellow color and a small, foamy white head. Head retention was about average and there were some bands of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste included some mild, generic fruitiness (probably some lemon and a little tropical fruit) and a little bitterness. Not enough for a fairly strong IPA. Mouthfeel was rich enough for the style and a little bitter. Lots of better NEIPAs out there

Cloudy to the point of the appearance being more white than gold. Small head that retains a film on the surface. There’s an initial ring of lace in the beginning of the tasting, random spots thereafter.
Vegetal, weedy aroma of the exclusively used Citra hop.
Sweeter unfermented malt start. Part mango, part pineapple. Fuller body with a lighter carbonation level. The hop is pronounced but nondescript—straight up bitter…in a balanced way.

A fingers worth plus of crisp lush off white active colored froth... Solid retention... Color is an exceedingly pale, dull and hazed lemony yellow... Nose is fairly non descript, with some moderate dankness and fresh cut grass... Flavor profile is equally one dimensional but different... It's got a strong grain and spice character to it... Feel is medium with moderate carbonation... Goes down smoothly enough... Not particularly wowed in any particular facet, rather each is a bit of a let down... It's drinkable, but not something I would revisit.
