500ml bottle served in a tulip. Pours one shade shy of black with an opaque clarity. A dark, mocha-colored head dissipates quickly towards the edges. Amazing nose - a bog hit of coconut followed by notes of barrel-aged goodness and cocoa. Taste is lovely - caramel, milk chocoalte, coconut and ethanol. Mouthfeel is medium-heavy in body with a mild carbonation and an amazingly silky mouthfeel. This beer is decadent and tasty. I’d love to see what a year does to this beer to even out the ethanol sharpness but it is definitely drinking well fresh.
