Pours with a three-finger tan head that fades quickly to a ring leaving a little lace. Opaque brown color. Good carbonation and medium-heavy bodied. Nose is roasted chocolate and flavor is roasted malt & chocolate, hints of caramel. 16oz can was a gift.

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. the beer pours a deep chocolate brown color with a large fluffy khaki colored head of 4 cm. The foam rises after even a gentle pour and starts to fade slowly leaving windowpane lattice on my glass as it recedes. A sturdy surface foam remains throughout the sampling.
Aroma is a good dose of roasted malt, with a little milk chocolate sweetness mixing in as well. No hops on the nose and any booze is covered by the malt as well. Makes sense as the ABV isnt all that high on this brew.
First sip reveals a silky smooth textured brew with average and spacious carbonation.
Flavor is what the nose advertised with all malt profile of sweet chocolate up front, lots of roasted notes and almost coffee ground character coming through and lingering long after each swallow. the roasted character is actually almost char or burnt flavor.
Again, no hops on this flavor profile, just like the nose and booze absent as well. Quite a nice easy drinking brew, glad to have tried this one.

Many thanks to SawDog505 for this beer!
A - Pitch black pour with moderate toffee colored.
S - Coffee and cream dominate with some sweet dark chocolate.
T - Coffee, cream, dark chocolate, char, light smoke, and a lingering smokey chocolate finish.
M - Medium body and very dry on the tongue.
O - This beer is more deserving than its current score of 3.85. Pretty solid.

Is this beer going to win any awards? Probably not. However, it's a good solid beer. It is what I would consider a beginners stout. It's not too strong and not to malty.
I'm not sure where the chocolate is hiding. I'm sure it's somewhere but it's not any place that I can appreciate.
You can definitely tell it's a milk stout. It creamy and has a good solid flavor. Is it something you're going to remember? Probably not, but if you saw it on the beer list at another place you'd probably get it.
Here's to you Chocolate Milk Stout. You did not blow my taste buds off of my tongue, but you made me smile and I appreciated it.

12oz can dated 1/31/17.
Pours mostly opaque dark brown with a thin tan head. Retention and lacing is minimal. Aromatics lead off with shades of brownie batter, malted milk balls, and nougat. Almost full bodied with a slick, rounded mouthfeel. Bakers chocolate with hints of Oreo shells and coffee beans on the palate. Finishes with lingering chocolate and low bitterness.
Tasty beer and it would certainly give a chocolate lover a decent fix. Of course I'd love to try an imperial and/or barrel-aged version.

Poured on draft at the Local Eatery into a pint glass. Pours a very slick neAR black with a two inch tan head, that leaves plenty of lace.
Smell is cocoa, toffee, vanilla, and some biscuit.
Taste follows nicely, cocoa nibs, vanilla, a hint of coffee, and buttery biscuit.
Mouthfeel is a creamy meadium, mild carbonation, not dry at all, and excellent drinkability.
Overall this is a very nice beer, I wasn't sure what to expect, but this drinks bigger than its 5.5% ABV and is really nice.

Poured from a 12 oz can.
Pours a dark brown-near black color with a finger of bubbly caramel head. The head has excellent retention, settling into a gentle film that rests atop the beer. Leaves minimal lacing.
The aroma brings waves of sweet chocolate and roasted grains. The back end has some subtle, earthy hops. Light, but nicely balanced.
The taste, like the nose, is loaded with lactose and milk chocolate. Some vanilla, subtle roastiness, and a fair amount of hops on the finish.
The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Velvety and exceptionally smooth. Finish is lightly dry.
Overall, a pretty solid milk stout that comes exactly as advertised. It's sweet and chocolatey, with a smooth, creamy body. At $9.99 a six-pack I'd certainly pick this one up again.
