Served from cask at the brewery.
Fairly clear deep brown color with garnet at the edges. Smoky earthy spicy on the nose with a bit of rich sweet malty character to back it up. Smoky earthy up front with a solid bready sweet malt behind it. Spicy peppery flavor and a lingering burn at the back of the throat long after each sip. Well made beer, not burn you up spicy, but the peppers add a nice compliment to the rich smoky maltiness of the base beer.
