Notes via stream of consciousness: This is an "apple cinnamon sour" at 5% ABV. It's poured a hazy yellow gold body beneath a finger's width of white foam. The aroma is a little odd but it's clear that there's some apple and cinnamon there. It has a bit of a mineralish character due to the lactobacillus which is to be expected, and which I enjoy. There's some malt as well. On to the taste... it's not that sour, I'd call it tangy and not even tart. Well, maybe tart. The apple is a little weird and the cinnamon is kind of dull but it works. What does the label say? Ahhh, "ALE WITH NATURAL FLAVORS". Personally, and as a professional brewer myself, I find it weird that they'd just use flavorings. Apple juice is inexpensive and freshly ground cinnamon is quite bright and exciting. Whatever. There's no real bitterness to it, which is probably a good thing, and despite that it finishes mainly dry with some mineral character and a touch of grassiness. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and gently crisp. The head has held up well and there's some decent lacing left behind. As a refreshing and fruity beer it's not bad, but neither is it great.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
