Casa Agria Specialty Ales "Buck"
on tap @ Interstate Drafhouse, Philadelphia, PA on 2 June 2018
Notes: A hazy golden-orange body is capped by white foam. Average head retention and lacing. It has an odd aroma, almost like Tequila or - don't take this wrong - a just cleaned bathroom. The flavor is subtly tart, grainy, woody, earthy, and fruity. There's a slight bit of oak to it. Finishes dry with some bitterness and earth lingering. Medium bodied and crisp. It's quite the beer: unique, tasty, interesting, enjoyable and refreshing.

Beautiful carbonation and head retention with strong lacing. The agave gives this a vegetal but sweet kick on top of the oak and subtle funk. Carries through the flavor with a bitter and earthy note that lingers at the end. Body is medium but soft. Really wonderful rustic saison. Incredibly food friendly.
