Packaged on 12/15/21, consumed on 1/18/22 - poured from a tall-boy can into my Bruery tulip.
Solid, opaque, mellow yellow liquid with a half finger of off-white soft peaks. Fine soapy lacing, good retention.
Delicate aromatics suggest gooseberry, kiwi, apricot, and wildflowers.
Pineapple shake with citrus, coconut, and papaya suggested on the palate. Somewhat bready/toasty malt bill offsets the mild bitterness from hops. Perhaps a little estery yeast character? Sweet/juicy at first, but ends fairly dry if not quite crisp. Unique flavor, albeit a little weak overall.
Creamy, thick, medium-bodied mouth-feel with a slight touch of acidity.
Unusual, but more of a meal than I was expecting, and the hops aren't really as present as I prefer for the style.

Opaque, yellow, some foam. As it should be.
Galaxy, if Chinook is pine-y in this beer maybe I smell that.
Melon and orange, not tangy though. I think that's Vic Secret adding some herbal/spice. Another hop might help as it leaves something to be desired.
Some welcome bite to distance from other NEIPAs.
