Thanks to ChewyLewy for sharing this one at hopodyssey's tasting.
Bottle # 75/93.
Pours an opaque super dark brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, brown sugar, and dark fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, brown sugar, and dark fruit flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a nice mix of toast, sticky sugar, and dark fruit all around.
Serving type: bottle.

Dark and spicy. Strong malt presence on the finish. Verrry Belgian yeast character- which overpowers with the phenols. Could a little more spice balance? Dry finish
