New Zealand hoppy blonde ale. Brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Moteuka hops. Supple malt character and mouthfeel. Notes of lemon, lime, champagne currants, melon, citrus candy, and a faint dankness reminiscent of the forest after it rains.

16 oz. can. Cloudy pale yellow. Smells of lemon, berry fruitiness, herbals, and earthiness. Tastes bright, fruity, lightly tangy, herbal and garlicky notes. Light, but never light in flavor and never watery. Excellent.

Pours a hazy light yellow, soapy 1" head with medium retention and light lacing. Nose is your standard American blonde profile - bubble gum, coriander, mandarin orange, fruity pepper. Taste has mild, yeasty sweetness, bazooka bubble gum, lemongrass. Feel is rather flat - not much carbonation, somewhat slick, yet thin. This style seems pretty well abandoned in the craft space, so it's good to see a Suarez take on it. That said, not my favorite of their beers, as this came off a bit too sweet and lacking in depth for me.

another lovely and highly drinkable yellow beer from these guys, this time not a lager but an easy blonde ale that maybe was still fermented on the cooler side, this is pretty brisk and snappy still, very well hopped, new zealand varietals doing their thing, they define this, but even without the hops i am loving the base beer, simple but so technically masterful, these guys really are doing some splendid stuff! the low alcohol on this is just awesome too, really makes it an all day thing, even though we only had one can to share. a bright yellow to this, off from clear but still glowing, decent little head on it, creamy and pure white. the hops have some faint astringency in the nose, like underripe white grape tang or something, thats striking and it makes my mouth water, white and yellow florals too, green apple, honeydew, and something lush and verdant like aloe, soft crackery grain base, cool minerality, close to neutral yeast, its really about the hops, which burst with freshness in here and pack very little bitterness when i get to drinking it. kiwi fruit and green grape, white wine and pineapple candy, light honey sweetness and a white tea herbal back end, not exceedingly dry at the end but not sweet either, good grain balancing the hops, the whole thing has a lot of flavor but stays light. slightly estery at temperature, but fresh and distinctive overall while staying light enough to have mass appeal. super into what these guys are doing, wish i had more regular access. thanks to my brother for sharing these cans with me, this is ideal for high summer.

Does not drink like a typical blonde. More like a sweeter but balanced pale ale. Cloudy golden yellow. Bright sweet grain, light grapefruit juiciness, a bit of zest and herbal bite. Clean, crisp lighter medium bodied, light fruit ester, mild zesty finish.

Clear, light straw color with two fingers of very dense head with excellent retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet, with plenty of citrus notes. Taste largely follows the nose with citrus notes and nice, smooth finish. Very refreshing beer.

This pours a slightly hazy straw color with a sudsy white head that is really clingy. The nose is bright citrus - lemon lime and passion fruit specifically, and there’s a nice, subtle biscuity malt note as well.
The lemon lime flavor is really forward on the taste - this is 7-Up as a (tasty) beer at first, and then the passion fruit and biscuity malt flavor complete the transition back to Beerville.
This is a really well executed low alcohol (4% ABV) beer that has a lot of flavor and also keeps true to its blonde ale style. Totally crushable summer beer.

Excellent interpretation of a blonde ale...the Suarez water must be magical as Dan and the Suarez gang are producing some amazing ales and lagers without needing to follow the hazy DIPA crowd. No way you’d ever guess this beer is only 3.7% and it gives you none of the session ale deficiencies that typically come with those beers.
16 oz can with a 9/2/20 date so 3 days in the can when sampled. (First canning ever if this beer according to the brewery) Just a really excellent blonde ale, the best I’ve ever had of this style.

On-tap @ Gold Star Beer Counter in Brooklyn, NY.
Straw to pale gold with a small white head, cloudy and opaque. Insanely fruity aroma compromised of mostly peach. Malt is hidden behind fruity hops, stone fruit and orange. Soft feel to it, making it easy to drink, a trademark of every Suarez Family beer I've had. A medium-light bodied blonde ale that would please any NEIPA fan.
