On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a glowing and hazy light orange/yellow, with a good amount of lacing, and a solid one inch head.
Smells like orange, grapefruit, lemon, wheat, and lemongrass.
The blonde ale base allows the hops to shine super brightly here- there's orange, grapefruit, and pineapple, with some great wheat flavors- I'm guessing that's from the kamut. There's a little bit of malt character, but nothing dominant- sort of crackery, and not sweet at all.
This is lighter bodied, with a very crisp mouthfeel, and a good level of carbonation.
Does this brewery make a bad beer? Nah.
