This blend is comprised of oak aged Fundamental Vienna lager ripened for 1.5 yrs— we then pushed it into a stainless tank and blended in some fresh Bones Shirt black lager and tank aged the components together for 5 months before bottling. Notes of Japanese purple plum, strawberry jam, blackberry, Pimms cup, Cynar spritz (!!!), berry zinger tea, lemony black tea, tootsie roll/Charleston chew, dark candy syrup/light molasses/buckwheat honey, China cola, Concord grape. All very soft and clean and expressive. Super cool profile?

This one pours a mostly clear medium amber hue, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.
This smells like vanilla, caramel, black tea, chocolate, dark fruit, blackberry, and dusty oak spice.
This is a very unique take for the series, and I'm here for it. The beer descriptions that Suarez gives out always look so overwhelming, and I usually haven't heard of/tasted half the stuff in there. However, they mention tasting Cynar, that weird artichoke liqueur - and I actually do get that - there's a very herbal thing going on that kind of reminds me of that. I otherwise get vanilla, dusty oak spice, chocolate, lemon, bitter black tea, and caramel. It's a weird blend but it works well for me. I wish the Bones Shirt came through a bit more - it tastes mostly influenced by the funkified Vienna lager base.
This is light bodied, slightly creamy, with not much acidity to it. It's very drinkable.
I hope there continues to be more unique or dark blends in this series.

this one brings a complex flavor profile but is so well integrated that it comes off as incredibly delicate and restrained. there is plum, mellow cherry skin, vanilla cream, oak, a mild touch of roasty and slightly bitter flavors almost hinting at bittersweet chocolate, mellow musty earth and grassy character, blackberry yogurt, spice, very low fruity acidity, some vinous character. it is so mild and well integrated but has plenty of flavor and that touch of rustic character, classic suarez! an absolute masterpiece!
