Bottle from brewery in Livingston, NY. Pours a clear golden orange with a finger of rocky white head that dissipates to a ring, decent lacing; smell is floral stone fruit, funky musty white wine, tart apricot and cherry, sour white grape skins, wet stone, grassy wet hay funk, hints of lemon zest and sour lemon candy; taste follows the nose with tart apricot, funky white wine, sour grape skin, tart cherry flesh, grassy/hay funk, mild black olive/salinity on the finish that lingers, hints of citrus zest, and citrus hard candy; feel is light and bright, medium acidity. Fruity and tart, balanced acidity, pleasant funk, and a mirage of salt/olive.

 

 

 

 

funk along with bold and somewhat acidic fruit. Melon, apricot, and yes dry gooseberry. Lasting white creamy head is interesting.A good sipper, sent from the brewery.
