Pours a murky orange color. 3 finger white head. Retention is decent. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose hit me as I was pouring it. Up close I get a ton of citrus. I get lots of pineapple, mango, and grapefruit
The taste is - like the nose - citrus. Pineapple. On the backside I'm getting another flavor, and that's a bit of lemon. I really don't know if I've ever gotten that flavor in an IPA before, but it's tart.
The feel crisp. It has a full body. It has a tart feel to it.
Very interesting IPA. The lemon flavor really threw me for a loop, but I like lemon, so it works.

Windmill Brewing - Variable Shift

Look: Beautifully opaque pale straw - straw color. Frothy, sticky and rocky white head. No visible carbonation. Steaks of lacing. Are far as NEIPA goes, this beer looks awesome.

Smell: Citrus forward with notes of orange, lemon and lime. Mango and pear. Some fruity white wine qualities.

Taste: Lots of lemon citrus and pith. Grassy, dry and some bitterness.

Feel: Nice level of prickly carbonation that makes the beer feel light on the palate. It’s very dry, almost too much.

Overall: A very nice IPA. Nice citrus notes with bitterness that provides for some balance and complexity.
