Pours orange with an off white head. Beer is described as a "straightforward pale ale loaded with amarillo hops" and that is exactly what this is. Amarillo hops is right there with nelson sauvin hops as my personal favorite hop variety, so that description was right up my alley. The beer was exactly as advertised, all about the amarillo hop. I would have liked a little something to have come from the malt though, there just wasn't really much/anything there regarding malt flavor. Pretty much all amarillo in its spicey, citrusy, floral glory. Good but simple, straightforward and one dimensional. A crisp, lighter mouthfeel. Overall, it was decent enough and catered to my love of amarillo hops. If you don't love amarillo hops, probably a boring beer for you....which is part of the nature of single hop beers in general, but especially true for this one.
