I had this poured from tap at the Boese Brother’s Los Alamos location. Poured into a shaker pint glass. Golden amber color with a nice white head and great curtain lacing. The smell was hard to get to because of the detergent used to wash the glass and the fact that the beer had a subdued smell. In any event, it smelled somewhat bready. The taste was bready as well with a bit of caramel and an earthy bitter finish. Good full feel and overall, not too bad. Good with the sandwich I got at the brewpub.

On-tap at Boese Brothers Brewery, Albuquerque, NM
A: The beer is crystal clear amber yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a thick coating of bubbles on the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Faint aromas of floral and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is quite fruity with flavors of floral and citrusy hops and underlying hints of biscuit malts. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slightly dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this California Common style beer to be enjoyable because it's not that malty on the palate—at least compared to other beers in the style.
Serving type: on-tap
