Pours a very pretty, mildly cloudy, gold with healthy foam that transforms into quite persistent lacing. Smell is a treat, grain, grass, spices and the banana-y esters of Belgian yeast. The taste follows, leading with malt, which is then joined by hops, phenols and some spice. The aftertaste really showcases the hops and spices (cloves, coriander, pepper seem appropriate). Medium body is a mild surprise given the light color, but it's well balanced by the grassy hops and persistent carbonation. This beer feels much lighter than its 7.7% ABV would suggest. Overall, this is remarkable for an American Saison.

Great looking beer on the pour....hazy gold with thick puffy head and shrouds of lace. Aroma is banana, spices and grains. Taste follows, complex flavor mixture of dried fruits, citrus, coriander, spices and malt. Finish is smooth. This is a sipper. Different flavors emerge as it warms in the glass. Fairly high ABV and moderate carbonation. An outstanding brew.

The pour is canary yellow. On the taste I'm getting some banana, barnyard funk, orange zest along with some hints of clove, coriander, & white pepper. Cheers! A-

Great saison beer. Cloudy yellow color, big white head. The aroma of fruits( citrus dominate) and yeast. The taste is malty, yeasty, and fruity with spicy notes. Light body, high carbonation. Minimal hoppy bitterness

Cloudy, nectarine-colored body; dense, lively carbonation; thick head, white and frothy, long lasting. Bold aroma; ginger and coriander; fresh citrus and tropical fruit blend. The taste builds on the smell; spicy; honey; wheat; phenols. Medium-heavy mouthfeel; sense of thickness and chewiness; sugary stickiness; subtle boozy and phenolic dryness.
Nope, didn't pour this one as cold as the bottle label suggests (40 °F / 5 °C), but I don't think my beer experience suffers from this. The smell and taste complement each other nicely, delivering some nice complexity to the nose and palate.
ABV: 7.7%; pouring temperature: 52 °F; bottling info: n/a

This is another one of those beers that have been around and drinking here and there so long that I'm surprised I haven't reviewed it.
Pours a cloudy gold with a huge white head. Can't fit the 12oz bottle in a pint glass. Excellent retention, bands of lace
Aromas of green banana, ginger, white pepper, savory herbs, a bit of citrusy coriander.
Sweet bready malt flavor with an awesome herb and spice component; I get celery, flat-leaf parsley, coriander, ginger, white pepper, and a bit of clove along with some green banana and pear.
Light bodied, effervescent, fluffy and satisfying mouthfeel
Really set the standard for American brewed, clean saisons.
