2017 version tasted in a Rastal Teku from a crowler on April 3, 2018. Collaboration with Alluvial Brewing. Dry hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Eureka and Vic Secret. Excellent.

I received this in a BIF box from the generous BA, @swenny916. Poured from fresh crowler into a Spiegelau IPA glass. It pours an opaque golden-tangerine color with almost a finger of fluffy, bright white head that dissipates leaving a thin sheen of soapy lacing. It's nicely fragrant with tart lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and floral hops. It's a lot more bitter than the smell would indicate. There's a touch of sweet tangerine and oats that's washed over with a wave of bitter, biting Citra, Mosaic, Eureka, and Vic Secret hops. Sometimes hops are distracting but here they're not. They really add to the flavor. This ale has a nice, medium body with pleasant carbonation, and a punchy 8.3% ABV. Overall, this is my first beer from Pulpit Rock and Alluvial Brewing and I'm impressed. It's well-crafted, tasty, and thoroughly enjoyable.
