Aroma is big caramel/mild sweetness and beery malts. The flavor is big caramel, German malts/grains, slightly oily and a medium sweet/mostly smooth finish.

poured from a 16oz can into a willi becher pint glass. pours a light amber with two fingers of off-white foam. a fine looking beer. heavy dark bread grains and subtle earthy hops on the nose. i almost get a bit of rosemary. taste is bitter rye bread. malt-forward. perhaps a little bit of hops in the finish. medium-full mouthfeel. nothing to complain about. carbed about as expected. not a bad beer but definitely a little one note. very heavy on the rye bread-like maltiness. it does drink well for over 6% with a bit of warmth to it.

Medium chestnut/orange color. Slightly tart, quite light, lightly caramelized, medium toast malt aroma. Thin, medium toast malt & grain, with an off-dry, off-spiced, taste.

BTO pours a clear amber color, with no head. Mild yet malty aroma. Flavor is very light, almost flavorless, some bright malt notes though. Flat and very light. Overall, not horrible, very light and weak.
