Dark dark with great head retention. Thick but not syrupy at all. Taste is out of this world. Spot on!! Loved it from start to finish. Great job brewers!!

Draft pour at Pulpit Rock. Black body with thin cap of medium brown head. Marshmallow and vanilla with a fresh roasty coffee bean. Taste is more coffee dominated. Wishing that the vanilla came out more in the flavor. Moderately bitter coffee bean that is extremely smooth tasting like a breakfast blend coffee. Mouthfeel is your typical nitro pour; silky when right out of the nitro tap then transitions to a watery mouthfeel as it warms. Overall an outstanding nose and the flavor could use alot more vanilla notes, but pretty tasty and well executed brew. The nitro mouthfeel was the only short fall of the beer and it wasnt something extremely distracting as I rated the mouthfeel still well above average. Pulpit Rock makes a great nitro coffee porter here beer!
