Thanks, Sam!
Got this along with seven other beers from Sam. Had never heard of this brewery. Untappd description had it as, “Dedicated to our favorite plumbing specialist, this Citra/Eldorado thrill ride is no drain pour. Raise your wrench!”
Poured a golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Slow moving bubbles coming up from the sides of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled sharp Citra, candied El Dorado, melon, lime, pine, white grapefruit, pear, mango, earthy malt, wood and, I know this is going to sound off, ashtray. Kept getting that smokiness on the end. Citra really comes out more from the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted a little better than the smell. Certainly a pale ale as it was very light. Got sharp Citra, lime, white grapefruit, pear, mango, pine, El Dorado, melon and citrus zest. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily texture. Soft carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.25)
A very good New England Style pale ale. (Overall - 3.75)
