Pours a viscous, crude-oil hue, settling into the glass capped with a fuzzy half-finger of deep mocha foam; a brief head recedes to an inky surface, paper-thin collar, and no lacing whatsoever holding to the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to heavy char balanced with milk cocoa, with silky vanilla imbued and subtle cashew accenting before residual dark fruit esters fade through the back end of the bouquet.
Taste presents bourbon coating vanilla upfront as a dark fruit undertone settles in the distance and barrel char intermingles with a lingering toasty nuttiness building through the profile.
Mouthfeel offers a full body and minimal carbonation, with immense texturing yielding creamy subtext into a prickly char past the mid-palate while slickness finishes alongside a mild warmth.
Verging on cloyingly thick and at times a bit intense; a brave barrel-aged stout guided not by adjuncts, but an unadulterated malt density.

Sweet milk chocolate, chocolate-covered mixed nuts, and a prominent vanilla-bourbon barrel boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a thicc and viscous, dark chocolate with nuts, a hint of vanilla, and a big boozy barrel finish. Definitely a sipper! This is good!
