16oz crowler fill from the brewery on 9-18-20, opened 9-19-20.
3 different O-Fest beers on tap yesterday...this one (Festbier), Keller (unfiltered) Oktoberfest, and traditional Oktoberfest Marzen.
1 finger off white head, medium bead and decent retention. Falls slowly to a solid cap.
Deep golden color with very good clarity. Early lacing slides off.
Aromas of sweet malt, bread dough, light honey...clean lager
Bready / toasty malt is more pronounced in the flavor.
Nutty grain and light taste of floral/spicy hops in the finish.
Medium body and carbonation. Smooth, satisfying mouthfeel.
Moderate length finish with just the right touch of sweetness.
Drinkability is superb, 2 or 3 of these wouldn't be difficult.
Very Good to Outstanding.
