From a 473ml can dated 25/07/28. Poured into a tulip. A two finger fine white head on a very slightly hazy pale orange. Good head retention. Lots of of patchy lacing.
Fresh fruit and some yeast in the nose. the taste follows the nose. Fruit up front. Raspberries. Generally fruit forward with a moderately tart finish.
A medium/light body with good carbonation. Overall a decent mild fruited Kettle Sour.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Jun 21 2021 and served slightly chilled.
Pours orange-amber in hue, its effervescent body lightly fogged by the presence of silty sediment dispersed throughout the liquid. One finger of soapy, sudsy white head lasts for about ninety seconds, quickly reduced to a bubbly collar and some wisps on the surface. It smells of wheaty malts, grain husks, hibiscus and raspberries, with hints of blueberry skin and lemon yogurt.
Not a bad little brew - kind of an introductory sour, in that the fruits are what really shine, and overall it's more sweet-tart vs. straight-up puckeringly sour. Raspberry, lemon, hibiscus and faint blueberry at the forefront, with raspberry iced tea, floral notes and light lactic acidity on the back end. Fruity aftertaste with lingering hints of blackcurrant, raspberry and lemon yogurt. Light in body, with assertive carbonation that lends a proper bite to this light ale, resulting in a crisp, smooth mouthfeel. Refreshing and highly sessionable.
Final Grade: 3.89, a solid B+. I'd be lying if I claimed I could discern "haskap" as a flavour, as I've never eaten the berry itself and I doubt I've ever had more than one or two beers that contain it (that includes this one, fyi). I suppose it must've been that raspberry-esque note I was getting? Resolution Hibiscus Haskap is light in terms of both abv and sourness, but the berry and hibiscus are each displayed nicely, ensuring a satisfying experience if not a mind-blowingly impressive one - better than the Kumquat variant, I'd say. Worth a spin, and something I plan to revisit this summer.
