This beer is one of the better brown ales that I have had. It has a slight sweet potato flavor, but also a coffee and bourbon flavor too. It’s not chalky or thick, it’s actually pretty light tasting. It’s got a higher ABV for a brown, but that’s fine with me! It pairs really well with bbq too

Pours a hazy, brown color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Decent retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hint of coffee, yeast, and slight pale malt. Fits the style of an American Brown Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight alcohol, slight liquor, hint of wood, sweet malt, hint of coffee, and pale malt. Overall, weak appearance, average aroma, but the body is complex and well balanced.
