It is described on the label as an Imperial Gose, not an option on the Beer Advocate list. At 7.5 % ABV, that might be a very accurate description. A pint can was emptied into a clear glass liter mug. There's no head, nor lacing despite decent carbonation and body. The color is a murky ruby red, tinted with just a little orange. A tart and fruity aroma is there, but it's not particularly citrusy. That's how it tastes, fruity but not with the acidity of citrus. Cherries, raspberries and pineapple do their parts well to prevent that. This is scarily tasty, considering the ABV. Sweet and tart rather than sweet and sour, it has just the perfect body for delivery. The label lists four fruits included in the mix. Not one dominates, making this delightfully balanced. Whichever the category, this is one excellent fruited sour.
