16oz can, willi becher glass. Slightly cloudy golden straw yellow body, one finger white head, good retention, a bit of lacing. Smell is distinct spicy rye, mineral, a bit of crackery malt, lemon and a good dose of citrus. Flavour follows, really works well here- the spicy rye is strong and took me aback on the first few sips until I got properly acclimated. Consequently, there is a lot of flavour backed up by a decent grainy rye bread backbone and a nice citrusy zest bitterness on the backend. Mouthfeel is lighter medium bodied, good carbonation, good zesty bitterness with a dab of rye.

Appearance - Pours cloudy lemon color with nice fluffy white head that stands up nicely. Some nice spotty lacing around the glass.

Aroma - Spicy rye, little bit of orange and citrus peel. Lemon, straw, nice floral hop aroma.

Taste - Big spicy rye up front, some mild lemon zest, great earthy herbal taste I assume from the Loral hops.

Feel - Medium bodied well carbonated easy drinking.

Overall - I really like this beer, the rye does wonders in a beer for me. Wonderful flavors and easy drinking.
