16oz can from Tavour. Milky, hazy pour, ring of bubbles. Aroma is fruity and milky. Blend of tropical and citrusy flavors. Smooth, lingering bitterness.

Hazy orange juice body with a white cap that disappears right away. Pine with slight resin hops meet the pineapple and coconut on the battlefield of both smell and taste. Like the listerman version, hops are mild, again making me thinking it is not a neipa without being told so. Some orange zest lingers. Feels juicy but mild, medium bodied, and mildly crisp from higher carbonation.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that died down and left just a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of pine are present in the nose along with hints of coconut and pineapple.
T: The taste follows the smell but has stronger notes of coconut and pine. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the piney aromas/flavors of Chinook in this New England IPA to be very interesting, but they were nicely balanced out by the coconut and pineapple.

16 oz can

Part two of a two part collaboration with Listermann.

Pours hazy orange, yellowish white head is fluffy, dissipates to lacing.

Aroma of orange citrus and pineapple with some zest and bready malt.

Flavor of orange citrus, citrus zest, pineapple, hints of coconut, and a notable zest bite in the finish. Almost spicy. Hops are earthy and herbal.

Medium to full body, stinging carbonation on the tongue.

Interesting flavor profile. Definitely stands out. I'm surprised by how different this is from the other variant. Also very drinkable. Comes in at a lower abv which I think I like more. The flavor is still good, but a little harsher. I don't think I prefer one over the other, they're both worth trying. Each has strengths. I appreciated the aroma and flavor of the other, but this has a better body and looks prettier.

Secured via Tavour. Poured from the 16 oz. can into a Stone pint glass.

A - Pours a murky orange with a half-finger head.

S - Citrusy blast of mango and pineapple. Not picking up any coconut immediately. A hint of resin-y pine on the very back end.

T - Whoa! That first sip was VERY interesting. I get juicy pineapple with a hint of coconut and some marshmallow, which was very unexpected. Nice hop bite. There’s something else at play here that I’m not quite putting my finger on. The coconut shines thru a bit more as i make my way thru the glass.

F - juicy and slick, the feel is just as a NEIPA should be.

Overall, an interesting take on the style, and I did enjoy it. Don’t know that I need to seek out more though
