2020 was without a doubt the year of "NO". No concerts, no festivals, just no...but luckily over the last year we've been able to pull together and get everything back on track...Just kidding. 2021 may not be quite the year of NO that 2020 was, but there's still quite a bit left off the table and while we would love to be attending Oktoberfest as possible in years past, the answer has yet again been, well...NO!!! So kick back in the safety of your own home and enjoy this classically styled Marzen while we cross our fingers that this will be the last year of "no".

Amber-orange body, clear; nice carbonation; thin yet persistent head, dense and creamy; thick sheets of foam coat the inside of the glass. Decent smell; sweet and malty although rather quiet. Okay malt flavor; mild sweetness with a bit of toasted grain character; rather bold hop bitterness. Medium body; good residual sugar feel.
The looks are the highlight of this beer. The taste and smell are rather thin all around, lacking depth and robustness. It fits the Oktoberfest beer style, but just doesn't match up with the best offerings out there.
Poured at 46 °F; no dating information found on the can.

This was definitely an adequate Oktoberfest I don't think I can say it's my favorite so far though in my first full season of trying these. Definitely would have again just need a smidge more flavor
UPDATE, after a second time there was indeed a smidge more flavor, i wouldn't mind having next year if they did it again but still not my absolute favorite.

This is a decent Oktoberfest, and the little story on the can is entertaining, but it's not quite as full-bodied as I like. Good flavor, just wish there was a bit more of it. But then again, I like strong Oktoberfests, so take that for what you will. Always glad to see another brewery doing this style.
