Pumpkin pie on the can, I had to get it. This is a barleywine from New Image with big time marshmallow. It has the caramel traits of a classic barleywine as well, blending into a slightly oversweet beer. I'm not getting the pumpkin pie spices as much as I thought I would.

Opaque light brown pour, tiny beige collar. Smells like pumpkin pie, like actually, but certainly sugary. Taste is a diabetic nightmare, boozy pumpkin pie with a ton of vanilla and sugar, ending notes of the pumpkin are squash like. Light almond there too, but it is not enough to balance the cloying sweetness with booze amplifying. Feel is warm to almost hot with booze, cloying, thin for style, and bright. Had potential but way too sweet. The wife liked it, saying "it is a fall seasonal, but more interesting than good". I would rather talk about politics, money and religion than drink this again

They successfully pulled this off, it absolutely brings pumpkin pie to mind. The marshmallow and pumpkin are definitely prominent. I also noticed something I want to call graham cracker, but I guess is the almond flour.
The is VERY sweet and I was glad to be able to split this with my wife. 16 ounces would have been a lot.
