Ordered from Tavour, chilled, and poured into an imperial pint glass.
Look: Pours a deep raspberry red color with a one finger very light pink head that disappeared and left no foam and no lacing.
Smell: smells like sour red raspberries. Not sure we get strawberry but the blueberry is present in an earthy fruity note.
Taste: sour up front, followed by raspberry and some strawberry, trailing earthy blueberry that lingers with a little malt and tart fruit on the backend. No booze and no hop presence.
Feel: light body with crisp tart feel that gives way to intense tickle of carbonation that lingers as it warmed.
Overall this is a decent kettle sour, fruit tart. The strong presence of raspberry hides the other fruits and you have to slow sip, let the beer hang in your mouth and chew on it a bit to get the others reveal themselves. Good beer for a warm day, slow sipping beer. For an 8% ABV beer, the booze is very well hidden.
Cheers everyone!
