Flaked and malted wheat IPA with coffee cherries, Simcoe, Strata, & Citra - Collab with Traction Coffee Roasters
Here's to all the teachers out there - we know the last year has been the weirdest time to connect with students, but you all still made it happen and we wanted to celebrate and give back the best way we could think - making alcohol for you! Coffee and beer help start and cap off a day, so we teamed up with the homies at Traction Coffee Roasters to us Cascara (AKA coffee cherries) in this beer to add some buzz to the buzz. Plus, $1 from every 4pk will go back to support a teacher's group and give back to the educators who busted their asses so hard this year. Cheers!

Hazy dull golden with a thick offwhite head, looks decent. Smells really fruity wow, pretty tasty. Fruity with low bitterness, maybe slight heat. This isn’t what I was expecting after seeing what was in it with the coffee and cherry and wheat etc. Thicker feel with less carbonation.

Cloudy, peach-yellow body; relatively thin head yet dense and creamy; sticky rings of foam highlight the glass. Faint but nice smell; light citrus notes with a touch of cereal grain presence. Nice citrus flavor with a touch of biscuit. Heavy body; velvety; semi-juicy with some grain-like warmth.
There is no coffee flavor per se. Doing a bit of online research, coffee cherries can have a slightly sweet taste, so perhaps it's mixed in with the flavor, but well-hidden. Overall, the wheat adds a nice touch of depth to the mouthfeel, bringing a nice full and rounded character to the beer.
Served up at 67 °F; no canning date information noted.
