Midnight black viscous pour, clean. Lively nose: rye, wheaten bourbon, dark chocolate, char, with hints of dried cherry, earth, licorice and wood root. Very rugged up front in the taste: rye, wheaten bourbon, dark oak and charred earth lead, then that cedar, black strap molasses, and anise kick in, before dried dark cherry, plum, a whisper of toffee and a resounding note of barley finish. Feel is smooth and thick, yet has plenty of barrel textures, warm and sharp, decently heavy too

Bottle. Tan head. Motor oil black.
The Spanish cedar is awesome. Very unique. Lots of chewy wood/oak. Tobacco, leather, fudge, bourbon, figs, caramel, plums, raisins, and dried apples. Very awesome blend. Strong, warming. Big barrel influence.
