Pours a light, clear yellow, appears copper in the glass; good carbonation; thin yet lasting head, white and fairly dense. Subtle aroma of light honey and toasted cereal grain. The tastes start thin then the residual sugars deliver a fine bread crust and mild caramel tones to the palate; very delicate sweetness; low-key bitterness. Medium body; fine velvety feel on the palate; light sweetness overall.
A very fine märzen with nice looks and fine taste delivery an easy drinking experience, and all at 3.5% ABV. Proof positive that great beer with low ABV is possible!
