Delicious collab with bierstadt. White head, clear golden color.

Biscuit, crackers, honey bread. Grassy and zesty, earthy hops. Crisp, clean, and obviously easy drinking.

bierstadt collaboration, heady get for these guys, was good to pop into their second location recently and check back in, its been awhile since i drank through their stuff, still doing cool beers across a range of styles, somewhat unsung outside of the immediate area. a german pale type with some obvious european character to the grain and the yeast, but in a lot of ways lighter than a classic pils, but more flavorful than a macro yellow beer type, which yields a mass appeal and high volume drinker, well refined all the way, nicely lagered, clean and crisp, definitely refreshing, nicely done. golden toned and crystal clear with a wispy inch of big bubbled white head. it smells like fresh bread, plain crackers, and familiar lager yeast, some minerality comes through at temperature, and the hops are pretty mild all things considered, at least in terms of bitterness. the flavor rides the high carbonation and its grainy and fresh, simple and clean, with the yeast influencing this quite a bit too, in good balance even without a lot of hops, subtle lime character, could be saaz in this, but its subtle enough to not be obvious. just a little snap on the swallow, refreshing to drink with it being as dry as it is, and aside from a light honey or graham cracker note in the middle, this is brisk the whole way, dry and fast. overall really good, seems more bierstadt than new image to me, which might be a compliment to new image if they took the lead on this. rock solid and built for crushing.
