Having just constructed the blend for 2023, noting in that blend a rare expression of tropical fruit, blackberry and complex spice, it seemed like a perfect companion to pair this delicate coffee with. So we took just a small portion of the main blend before the tank was emptied and infused 1 LB / BBL of freshly roasted Gesha coffee from Mountain Dweller Coffee to add one final layer to our liquid epilogue.
The resulting beer is something to behold, expressing exotic notes of fruit and spice, bold chocolate and honey with a balance of spirit and barrel character present all throughout. This was an incredibly small batch that was processed in this way, as such, availability will be extremely limited.
