from the micro's website and also on UnTappd and too much work for me to translate --
Cerveza tipo Palé Ale, equilibrada y consistente en cuerpo, con ligeros toques tostados y lúpulos añadidos al final de la fermentación para que la sensación de frescor sea óptima, consiguiendo recuerdos a frutas tropicales.

This is an interesting find.
A mostly ale micro in wine and lager country. Dedicated to their craft and some international awards to show for it.
I went on their website and it is very competent also and they even have an English translation button. There is a history lesson that goes way back in time, describing the evolution of brewing and bring us up to date with their specific terroir. It has a mica mineral content in the water that also changes the barley. (I wish I had done that research before I drank it as that knowledge may have explained a few things) Anyhow, I will review Maternus 11 when I have another, which I hope is soon. In the meantime, I give them very good Overall Hugs for their dedication and thoughtfulness.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
