Bought this bottle from Craft Shack. While I hardly believe I am an expert in this style, I must be; having reviewed 10 of the 266 active rice lagers on BA. I will say these lagers offer a distinctive, subtle taste and that is particularly true in this one; crafted at a sake brewery in Omachi (about 50 miles west of Osaka, Japan's second city.) A nicely dry lager in the finish that also is nicely sweet in the attack. Low hopped, yet balanced.
Miyashita Shuzo's website explains its business and it is interesting if you want to know the differences between sake and beer. (But first, you have to find the English button in the upper right hand corner.) Glad I found this and I can see why so many American crafters (particularly in California) are trying to recreate the subtlety. A very pleasant beverage.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
