Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a milky brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Light stringy lace. The aroma had some sweet and roasted nuts, light caramel/toffee malt backbone, some woodiness, light leather and ended with some earthy hops (Fuggles, I think). The flavor did a pretty good job of blending the malts, sweet and roasty into the hops. Nice aftertaste and finish of the mix of it all. The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps a bit under. Some acceptable dryness along my tongue. Carbonation felt fine and the ABV felt good. Overall, pretty good brown ale that seemed like it was made for pounding but I enjoyed this one at my own pace.
