This beer is a bit of an odd-ball, a Lactobacillus sour soaked with cherry wood. The sour component was very well done, the initial tartness was appropriate and well conceived. The cherry wood component was off putting however. The only way I can describe it was the beer tasted like a lumber yard smells. The flavor was far too tannic for my palate, much like too young red wine. I gave it 3.00s as it was an experience, and I am not one to discourage experimentation. Worth trying as it is unique.
