Not so much banana/clove/smoke here as general fruitiness from the yeast + a very light dose of smoked malt flavor. The body feels just a touch watery. Combined with the fruitiness, rather than banana/clove, this one feels like it's lacking something, a certain je ne sais quoi. Perhaps a different hefe yeast + a bit fuller/richer a body would get this one crankin'.
