Here's the problem with a beer like this. You know it's a gimmick. It was brewed for an anniversary event, so no harm there, but you really don't expect much with something like this. Then they go and unleash a legit base brew -- a porter with great dark, chocolatey malt and enough hops to, at the very least, conceal the oncoming insulin coma. Honestly, this was pulled off incredibly well. Kudos.
