Served on top at the brewery itself, on to the beer:
This reddish orange ale owns a soapy head with good retaining lace. The beer has a very attractive aroma, bringing to mind cantaloupe, orange, and pine. It's quite tasty as well, riding a malty base with toasted sugar and pine flavors. It's easy drinking and well worthy of a pint.

On tap at the brewery. Look is dark copper, no haze. Smell is piney hops. Taste is medium bitter, decent malt to balance. Maybe a big on the hop forward side. Overall a pretty solid hoppy red. Not in the class of nugget nectar, but it is good

A tasty hoppy red, executed well enough, but still something feels wanting. Perhaps a touch too heavy/singular with the caramel malt? Body is red...ish, perhaps a touch more bronze/orange than red though, and it perhaps lacks the sort of rich depth of red that the best ones have. Maybe a touch more piney hops needed in the nose too? Again, certainly a tasty beer, certainly one I'd have again. And I'm tough on hoppy reds, as it's a style I really love. This is on the right track but not fully there yet.

Enjoyed a pint at Fate South today.
Beer served red with a nice off white head.
Nose is nice aromic fresh northwest hops. Unfortunately since we were sitting outside it turned a bit skunky even though we were in the shade.
Taste was caramel malts that were taken over by pine and citrus.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and pretty refreshing.
Overall a pretty nice representation of the style. It was strange that it stared getting skunky despite being in the shade. Try it if you like hoppy beers!
