Picked up a 16 oz mason jar from the Craft Beer Hop Stop on 9-7-18 for $4.00. Keg tapped on 8-29-18; consumed on 9-15-18.
Beer poured golden orange with a smallish head that is leaving some lacing behind.
Nose is very nice, quite dank with plenty of fresh citrus and pine.
Taste is classic West Coast, grapefruit forward over a good size malt base finishing with a nice slam of piney hops that leaves a moderate prickly bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall another nice IPA from McFate, they are underrated here in Phoenix. Recommend you check this out!

Crystal clear golden color, light tan head, aromas are dank hops, with grapefruit, passion fruit, and tangerine aromas dominating.
Taste is all about the hops, with the same citrusy flavors as featured on the nose. This could’ve devolved into a “bitter bomb,” but didn’t, which is a credit to the brewery.

This is a west coast style IPA that appeals because it is juicy as heck and not that bitter. Big hit of Galaxy lending tropical stonefruit but then it's a crazy amount of dank hops. Delicious stuff. Clean finish. Low malt. Perfectly nails the style.
