Picked up a 16 oz Mason Jar from the Craft Beer Hop Stop for $4.00. Love Double Oatmeal IPA so wanted to give this one a try.
Beer poured golden orange with a solid white head that is leaving some lacing behind.
Nose is wonderful, fresh hops abound.
Taste is grapefruit and pine forward with a hint of orange over a huge malt base. Finish initially was very bitter but is balancing with subsequent sips.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly smooth and refreshing.
Overall a nice job of brewing by the McFate team!
