Enjoyed a 10 oz snifter at McFate on Shea Boulevard on 2-2-19 for $6.00.
Beer poured dark brown with a nice off white head with the initial serving.
Nose was smoke forward with some hints of bourbon lingering in the background.
Taste was a subtle smoked malt base combining with hints of vanilla and bourbon from the barrel.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall a nicely embellished base beer with the smoked malts and the barrel playing nicely together!
