Pours a lightly hazy straw color with a 2-finger white head. Nice retention and lacing.
The aroma brings notes of bananas, tart lemon, some funk, and a ton of doughy bread on the back end.
The taste follows the nose. Lots of bananas followed by a wave of lemons and grass. Finishes with plenty of dry bread and spicy cracked pepper.
The feel is medium-bodied with good carbonation. Very crisp and very dry.
Overall, an impressive, if unspectacular saison. It's got plenty of flavor yet it's light enough to be enjoyed on a hot summer day, and in a session. Good beer.
